Andina PLC in turn  directly and indirectly holds 51%  of EDEMSA SA. Edemsa SA distributes electricity to 11 departments of the Province of Mendoza and currently provides high quality service to more than 450,000 households. Further, Edemsa SA employs 1,314 outstanding professionals and contractors. Robust and reliable electricity  service  has been at the core of Mendoza's business success in the fast-growing wine and tourist industries. Currently Mendoza was ranked #2 In David Wolfe's The 10 Best Places to Live  making it the only South America appearance on the list.
